We purchased this camera because friends of ours have them for their children who are a little older than our son and he always wants to play with theirs! Our son just turned 2 and loves this camera. He is not taking perfect photos by any means, but the idea that he can have his own camera that really works is thrilling for him! So far it has been very durable! He is small for his age but he can handle the camera well and hold it in the right position to take photos. Of course we supervise him well with it in the event that a small piece would come off. We are very happy with this Fisher Price toy!

FP Digital Tough Digital Camera
We bought this camera for our 5 year old grandson. He had all the buttons figured out within a matter of minutes and even his 3 year old brother had it figured out in no time. They have enjoyed it and love taking pictures with the camera. And it has been dropped, accidently and in tugs of war over it. Still wo rks great!
not great for lil hands
my son who is 3 (a small 3) loves taking pics with out iphone, so we thought this would be a perfect gift.. but the click button being on the front of the camera makes it difficult for him to take pictures.. a disappointment! if only the click button had been on the same side as the picture viewer!!!
Picture quality stinks!
The Fisher price Kid-Tough Digital Cameras, both blue and pink versions, are fun for kids and as durable as advertised, but the picture-quality is very, very, very poor. So, although it is educational for kids and they pretty much can't break it, they don't get the joy of seeing quality prints of the photos they take. I think Fisher Price could do a much better job by making sure this camera can take quality pictures. The images are extremely pixilated and grainy and the color is lousy. I am disappointed. My kids, age 5 and 6, girl and boy, had fun playing with the camera at first, but quickly lost interest in using these cameras when they found that the images were so poor. Now they want to use my good adult digital camera so they can make decent prints of the pictures they take---and I don't blame them.
The case is good - contrary to another reviewer's opinion. Oh, and the "frustration free" packaging is a big plus for the environment, keep that!
Fun but terrible picture quality
Our 3 year old likes running around taking pictures with this camera, so that's the important thing, but do not think you're buying your child a real camera, as we did. The picture quality is an insult. I have honestly never seen any digital camera - webcams, cellphones included - that produced such lousy pictures - low resolution, incredibly grainy. I was hoping to surprise my son by showing him his pictures on the computer, but I decided not to as they looked appalling on the big screen. It's only a matter of time before he starts wanting to see the photos on a proper screen or paper, so I know disappointment is coming. We will have to buy him another camera when the time comes :-(

just Ok!
This didn't go as well as I hoped with my daughter! she prefers to practice on real clothes. Button is too hard for her little fingers. Looking back I probably wouldn't have bought it.
Disappointing
I purchased this for my grandson. From the pictures it looked like a great learning toy. Since it is a puzzle each piece comes loose so it is near impossible to try and button, zip, etc. even if they did work. The zipper wouldn't zip, the seat belt latch would not release, in fact the only thing that worked like you expected was the snap. Major disappointment for a Melissa and Doug toy.
Good concept...but stick with the plush doll or bear
Like any other Melissa and Doug product, this is very durable and has stood a 2 year old's worst and now a 12 month old's chewing. However, it's really hard to manipulate the concepts the puzzle is trying to teach because the puzzle piece the function is on is too small so little hands can't button and hold the piece still at the same time. I would just stick with the standard plush doll to help teach zipping, tying, buckling, buttoning and snapping.
Moronic Design
I originally bought this because my twin daughters needed to learn the basic skills of tying laces, buttoning, etc. But the fact that it's also a puzzle just confuses things--it's almost impossible to perform these tasks when you already KNOW how to do them if the underlying surface is not stationary, let alone learn to do them. I cannot BELIEVE the idiocy of this design. Whoever did this does not have children, was never exposed to them, and did not think about what they would probably do with this. Instead of learning new skills, as I had hoped, they immediately scattered these useless bits of wood about our house, as I knew they would as soon as I opened it. Who didn't see that coming? I would never have purchased this if I knew it came apart, but it was enclosed in tight cellophane and didn't say. I thought it was a solid board, and really, that would have made sense. Being a puzzle doesn't. Don't waste your money.
hard for small hands
I usually love Melissa & Doug toys, but I was dissapointed with this one. The button hole is stitched so tightly that it's hard for toddler-sized hands to put the huge button through it. The belt is also a bit tricky since the holes are close together.
The plus side: it's a basical skills board and puzzle all-in-one, and it's fun to "dress"/"undress" the bear.

Great mom and daughter time together. Fun and easy to make and end product is cute….daughter loves it. This is her multi-purpose bag now: for ballet class, to carry small lightweight books, sometimes she even puts her little stuffed toys in it. Very nice product and the fabric stickers can be removed and repositioned if you make a mistake applying them. There are even instructions on how to make the stickers 3-d. Great as birthday presents also…everybody thought it was expensive!!

So Cute and Fun but durable?
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter, who is a girlie girl and loves purses. She and I had fun adding the details to the purse, it was very easy to do. It came out so cute but I wonder if the decals will stay on very well, after a week a few of them are peeling just a touch in the corners. But for the price and the fun shes had, I would buy it again.

We gave this to our daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves it, it’s sturdy and easy for us to push and steer using the handle bar. She loves the little compartment in the back where she can put things for the ride. It has a cute little bell. The only problems are that it’s still a little too big for her even with the seat all the way up. Her feet can barely touch the pedals so she can’t even begin to try to pedal it herself. And, you can’t pedal backwards, which makes no sense at all. Otherwise, it’s a nice little trike that I’m sure will get a lot of use.

My two year old loves her pink Trike
My daughter got this pink Trike for her 2nd birthday and loves it! She can't quite peddle hard enough to propel herself without a little help from an adult, but the bike is easy to turn using the adult bar, easy for her to get on and off by herself and really sturdy. I can see her enjoying this bike for a few years.

Love this bike!
We were looking for a beginner bikes for our 2-year-old and also our 6-year-old child with Down Syndrome. It works great for both- and the seat is adjustable so both of them fit the same size bike, on different settings (we bought one for each). Great learning tool for both, and they are having fun learning to ride a bike together. Would highly recommend this bike.
Great Trike
We purchased this trike for my daughter's 2nd birthday. It was a big hit! It was simple to assemble, and seems very durable. The steer bar is VERY HANDY, and works well for pushing an steering the trike. I'm very happy with this trike and would highly recommend it.
Perfect wonderful bike
This is thee best beginner bike for toddlers. They think they are riding the bike themselves and when they can ride the bike themselves they are entertained all day long!

This Play-Do set was clearly one of my daughter’s favorite Christmas presents this year. She loves the colors of the Play-Do itself, and she loves to use the tools that came along with it. The shapers, scissors and “spaghetti machine” are her favorite. She never gets tired of making things over and over. I also bought some cheap cookie cutters that she uses as shapers too, and they are a nice compliment to the smaller ones that come with the set. I also love that the duffel bag is so convenient for cleaning up and storing everything. Excellent purchase overall!

Everything you need!!!
Love this set! My 2 year old loves play dough. This was a perfect little bag with perfect little accessories. It's so easy to store, pull out, and clean up. We took it on vacation with us so we'd have some rainy day activities and it was perfect! We brought a placemat for the table had everything we needed.

Great Fun for 3 year old!
My niece got this as a one of her holiday gifts and is having great fun with it. While she has used other playdoh sets before this one comes with "scissors" which she didn't have and some new molds. She says the scissors are like what she has in school and it has been encouraging her creativity. She just made a bed and blanket for one of the molded animals. Enjoy!
Playdoh fun
This duffel bag is great b/c when you are finished playing, everything goes right back into the bag. It comes with all the basic stuff for someone new to play doh -- scissors, rolling pin, several cut out shapes and 4 colors of play doh. I think you get quite a bit of product for the price. My three year old loves it!

I bought this one because I thought it would be fun to have roads, train tracks, and water for my kids to play with all kinds of vehicles. Rug is very big (more than enough room for 2 kids to have space without fighting) and the graphics are nice. Road size is perfect for little wooden cars and this is a great match for those wooden building block sets for the kids to build houses or arches etc. Anyone who has seen the little wooden vehicles that are selling in the Target bins in the last month or so – those cars are a perfect fit for this rug and they have a train, helicopter, bus, and more!
My only complaint would be that this rug is a bit pricey…but it was the same price as pretty much all others out there…if they would sell it for say a -35 range it would be a really great value.

Very big, good purchase
This rug is huge! It is in my 2-year-old son's room. We have laminate floors, so it nice for an area to play on. I got this for my boys for Christmas 2009. I think it was a pretty good buy. I wouldn't have spent a fortune on a rug, but I wanted something that would work for our little Thomas take-along trains.
Great Rug, loved that it was more involved
I bought this one because I thought it would be fun to have roads, train tracks, and water for my kids to play with all kinds of vehicles. Rug is very big (more than enough room for 2 kids to have space without fighting) and the graphics are nice. Nice rug, great gift
This has been a great thing to add to my son's bedroom. He goes in spurts using it. We chose this one b/c it has roads, tracks and water on it, making all of his automotive toys useful. I still think it was a little pricey for what it is....I've seen products like it that seem to be the same size and quality for about 2/3 the price. No problems to report.
Town Rug
This rug is nice because of the rectangular shape, allowing more children to play. The other reason we like it is there are plenty of roads and railroad tracks. Most town rugs we looked at had either a railroad or roads, not both. This rug should last a long time.
Great Rug!
I was looking for a rug that could accommodate, trains, cars and boats and this was it. It has vivid colors and is well made. Only thing I would like to add is the size, the seller didn't put that in the description and I would have liked to know it before I purchased it, but the size was what I was hoping for. 36"x80"

We love Aquadoodle! Just went on an eight hour trip with our 19 month old. This really helped. Combined with the car seat tray that we also purchased before trip, this kept her occupied for a little while. We do have to watch that she doesn’t chew on the pen…but at least it’s just water.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE
bought this for my two year old daughter.But like some other comment's she used chalk on it and it was complety wasted after i tried to clean it.now it just has to be discarded.so it's not worth the price
Disappointed
We got the water pen as a gift and wanted to have something that our 2 year old could use on the go but this product and related ones are quite a disappointment. The quality of the drawing material is poor, it's hard to clean and we had to make sure that our daughter didn't accidentally write on it with something OTHER than the water pen that it came with - which she eventually did, basically rendering this product useless.
For the cost, I'd recommend getting a coloring book & a box of crayons instead.
Great toy for travel or home!
As the mother of a very active 2 yr old boy, this toy is one of his favorites AND one of mine! I love it because there is NO MESS!!! It's a great toy for at home or in the car, at the airport or virtually anywhere! I would highly recommend this item to other moms!

I had bought this as a gift for a little girl, but never gave it and ended up keeping it for my son. He’s not into it, though. But sometimes I pull it out and we go through the emotions. I will ask him to make a sad bear and he will, though a couple of the emotions are hard to tell. I think he doesn’t like that it’s a girl and not a boy with professional (fireman, doctor, etc) attire. They should make a boy one…not sure if they do. I know they have one with a family…
I can see a little girl liking this toy a lot.

Perfect for those motor skills!
This is very cute! If your little one likes playing with puzzles or toys that are tactile and hands-on (but not too complicated) then this is perfect. It's not very big- about the size of an adult's hand.
My only complaint is that the lid does not stay closed. It just sits on top the box, but there is nothing to make it stay- bad designing concept.

Beary fun
My daughter has this toy and played with it quite a bit when she was 2-3yo. It is very well made and I like the fact that I never see Melissa and Doug toys on the recall list for lead paint or other safety issues.
doesn't store well if you have a really young one
This is a very cute toy and the different expressions on the bears are great for talking about feelings, as someone else mentioned. Nice portable size. However, being a "portable" toy, the box is just a whiff too small to just throw the pieces in and go -- they have to be placed in or shuffled about so as to take up less space to fit the lid on. The lid is the other gripe I have. For some reason I just expected it to be a slider but it's just placed on, so it isn't secured at all. We have a fun rubberband for it, but it would have been nice if it were a slider or flip-top lid to make less of a mess as a portable toy.
Great Toy
Yes, this is relatively smaller than most of M&D's puzzles. But that's the beauty of it. My little girl loves it, it is much smaller than the Maggie Leigh dress-up set, so she takes it with her around the house, and plays with it before she takes her nap in the afternoon. Yes, it is made in China, but it is very well made consider the price tag.

This abacus is very sturdy, both my boys often stand on it while it is on its side. The beads are brightly colored and move easily across the bars. NOT made in China.
Anything can be educational, we often count the beads together and make rows of different amounts of beads to compare. Visual tools to learn math are always great because they’ll be learning while playing, without sitting down at a desk – the best way to learn!

Well made
This is a very well-made, substantial toy. I don't know how educational it will be for my niece, but at least she gets to play with the pretty colors and move the beads around. (After all, who really knows how to use an abacus besides the Chinese?) If this were to be an educational toy, someone would have to sit with the child and actively instruct, I think. At any rate, it's a very nice toy and I don't begrudge the money I spent on it.
